The National Security Coordinator, Joshua Kyeremeh, is reported dead.

He is said to have kicked the bucket Monday morning [Jan 18, 2021] at the Ga East Municipal Hospital, following a short sickness, reports Accra based Asaase Radio.

Joshua Kyeremeh was a Ghanaian government official and overseer.

He was an individual from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and was one of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's first representatives in 2017 during his initial term.

A quintessential insight proficient, he had been holding the situation of National Security Coordinator since 2017.

Kyeremeh was a result of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), and a previous Director of the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI), presently known as National Intelligence Bureau (NIB).

He worked for more than 22 years at the BNI, where he served at order levels in the Northern, Upper East, Ashanti and Greater Accra Regions.

He likewise filled in as top of the Investigations Unit of the Bureau. He rose to turn into the Deputy Director BNI and at last, the Director BNI from 2005 to 2009.
